We're sorry to report that Lucasfilm didn't bring a trailer for Ahsoka to D23, but some stills were shown to those in attendance that at least offer a glimpse at what to expect from the highly anticipated Disney+ series.
To begin with, we get to see Rosario Dawson's Ahsoka Tano in Jedi mode, and it's apparent Dave Filoni is carrying over that same aesthetic from Star Wars Rebels for the live-action sequel series. On Friday, news broke that Eman Esfandi will play Ezra Bridger in Ahsoka, though there was no mention of him or who is set to star as Grand Admiral Thrawn.
It appears Lucasfilm isn't quite ready to show too much off from this one, a shame considering the fact fans at Star Wars Celebration got to see a brief teaser earlier this year. On the plus side, we do get a first look at Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo) admiring that now iconic mural from Rebels.
While we hope the stills below will tide you over until footage is eventually released, one big surprise was revealed in the form of a first look at Jude Law's character in Star Wars: Skeleton Crew. No real intel was shared, though Jon Favreau confirmed Spider-Man: No Way Home director Jon Watts is going to be instrumental in bringing the series - which is already shooting - to our screens.
Law looks great here, and this is another show we hope to learn more about in the coming weeks and months.
