AHSOKA Character Posters Bring THE CLONE WARS' Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, And Captain Rex To Live-Action

These are quite easily the coolest Ahsoka character posters yet as they put a live-action spin on The Clone Wars by shifting the spotlight to Anakin Skywalker, Ahsoka Tano, and Captain Rex. Check them out!

The latest episode of Ahsoka followed Ahsoka Tano into the World Between Worlds where she was reunited with Anakin Skywalker. During two unforgettable flashbacks, we revisited the earliest days of The Clone Wars and later even got to see the Siege of Mandalore in live-action.

For fans of the long-running animated series, this was a dream come true. Whether it was watching the young Ahsoka head into battle or Anakin being decked out in his Clone War armour, "Shadow Warrior" was a joy from start to finish (a Captain Rex appearance was also welcomed, even if Temuera Morrison only provided the heroic clone's voice).

Now, all three of those characters from The Clone Wars step into the spotlight in new Ahsoka character posters.

We begin with Hayden Christensen's Anakin Skywalker before turning the spotlight to Ariana Greenblatt wearing the same uniform Ahsoka donned in season 7. Then, there's Rex, a character whose unique armour has translated perfectly to live-action.

Posters featuring the slightly younger Ahsoka and the Force Ghost Anakin would be a nice bonus, but those may well still be coming. Is a 6-episode live-action limited series set during The Clone Wars really too much to ask for after this? Probably, but boy, it sure would be cool to see.

It's unclear whether Ahsoka will feature additional flashbacks but we do anticipate seeing Anakin again. As for Rex, we don't believe Morrison was enlisted to play the older version of this character so there's a possibility that this will be it for him (for the time being at least).

Take a look at these amazing Ahsoka posters below.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.

The first five episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.

Love the Clone Wars look for Anakin. It's an amazing live adaptation.

But Rex? He was literally in one scene...

The de-aging looking shockingly good (for once) in this episode. Awesome to see that era of Anakin brought to life in Live Action.

I wasn't a fan of the looks so far of characters that were brought over from animation, but these three look amazing. Then again, I'm judging it based on these posters as I haven't seen the show yet

Star Wars is creatively bankrupt.

@TyrantBossMedia - we’ve never had a meeting between post-Vader Anakin and Ahsoka before - 2 of the main characters of the saga

If that’s bankruptcy then I’m about to file a chapter 11 rn

@Nightwing1015 - Same characters, same ideas, same concepts. There is nothing original there.

@TyrantBossMedia - been that way since 2015

@TyrantBossMedia - It's the same characters in a completely different situation. It's like saying Luke meeting Anakin after redemption is boring because it's the sane characters

@Nightwing1015 - It's not really a different situation. This situation is what Rebels ended with.
It's still around the Skywalkers, The rebellion, The empire. It's all the same.

I wish that we had gotten something substantial with Rex.

Not to complain and nitpick when they mostly nailed Rex but they kinda screwed his Dc-17 pistols up. I’m not sure why because they’ve nailed the gun in live action before. They’re a little longer than normal but they’re missing the little circle dish things on the back of the guns.
