Ahsoka will debut on Disney+ with a two-episode premiere on August 23, and Lucasfilm has now released six character posters spotlighting the titular (former) Jedi and some of her closest allies and most bitter enemies.

In addition to Rosario Dawson as Ahsoka Tano, the banners feature Star Wars Rebels alums Hera Syndulla (Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo), Morgan Elsbeth (Diana Lee Inosanto), who we first met during season 2 of The Mandalorian, another former Jedi turned mercenary Baylan Soll (the late Ray Stevenson), and his apprentice Shin Hati (Ivanna Sakhno).

"What I love about her is that she's such a strong leader and fighter, and she's also so maternal and nurturing," Winstead said of her live-action take on the former captain of The Ghost crew in a recent interview with EW. "We don't often see that depicted on screen. We see army generals being these very masculine, hard figures. And Hera has that, but she also has this softness to her. She really wants her crew to be loved and looked after, and at the same time, she's pushing them to be better."

Check out the posters at the links below.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

The series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Kevin Kiner was announced as the series' composer.

Ahoska is written by executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside executive producers Favreau, Kennedy, Wilson, and Beck. Gilchrist is co-executive producer. The series’ directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.

@harryba11zack - but its the only time when 90% of the cast and crew are female. when are you ever going to see the most female jedis and pilots ever again? its not like kathleen kennedy is trying to turn star wars into the new barbies for girls when it was originally only targeted at little boys. there is no "force" propaganda in any of the kathleen kennedy star wars era.

Star Wars sucks. It didn't at first, but it does now.

Cool posters, I'm curious to get to know these rogue former Jedies that Ahsoka and Sabine will have to fight with.

It's also the last performance by Ray Stevenson too so that is gonna hit.

Orange lightsabers aren't a new thing to me either, I first saw one during the PS1 Jedi Power Battles game as playing Plo Koon, so it's about time they introduced them.

Siths should be scary. These guys just look like Jedi's with dark colors. They should embody evil. Ever since Count Dooki, Siths have just gone down hill.

Ok sure but wasn't it a women, Mon Mothma, who lead the attack on the Death Star? Oh hold on wait a minute wasn't it Leia, a woman, who lead the men and women Rebels on Hoth and who's strategy and coolness as their leader saved the Rebel army? Oh didn't we also see this other women named Ahsoka lead armies of men during the Clone Wars too along with many other female Jedis?!
