The fourth episode of Ahsoka drops imminently (stay tuned to SFFGazette.com for our spoiler-filled recaps) and a clip has been released by Lucasfilm which sees the title character and Sabine Wren teaming up to take on Morgan Elsbeth's formidable assassin droids.
Huyang also has to show what he's capable of and the whole thing feels like another example of the Disney+ series essentially being Star Wars Rebels in live-action. Some fans have criticised the show's action sequences but it's hard to watch this trio fighting side-by-side with anything other than a grin on your face as a fan of Dave Filoni's work.
During this past April's Star Wars Celebration, Ahsoka Tano actress Rosario Dawson reflected on the intense training the role required.

"We were doing two hours of training a day, seven days a week," she remembered. "And then, you know, we start filming, and I'm having to do training while we're filming. And it was kind of insane to kind of have to forget a fight, a battle that you were so engrossed in, just to kind of pivot to the next one."
"But being that that's such a big part of the character, you know, her physicality, her prowess, her expertise, it was really nice to be able to assume that," Dawson adds. "And when I crossed that threshold of feeling competent and confident in it, it really meant everything. It changed the game for me, for sure."

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
The first three episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
