During The Clone Wars animated series, we learned Anakin Skywalker had his own Padawan. Ahsoka Tano fought bravely by his side but eventually left the Jedi Order, with the show's final season revealing Anakin's turn to the Dark Side was at least partly also down to the Jedi Council turning its back on her.
All signs point to Hayden Christensen being part of Ahsoka, both as Anakin and Darth Vader. With Dave Filoni at the helm, the hope is we'll get to see the actor in his armour from The Clone Wars animated series, especially after Obi-Wan Kenobi failed to deliver on that front.
Thanks to SFFGazette.com, we now have an incredible new fan poster revealing what the armour could look like in live-action...it even has a young Ahsoka standing tall near her Master.
Anything along these lines would be an internet-breaking moment for Star Wars fans, and there have been rumblings about these two characters finally sharing the screen. However, that will be to recreate Revenge of the Sith's final lightsaber duel and you can read more about that here.
Check out @guiillegfx's awesome Ahsoka poster below.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
Ahsoka will launch exclusively on Disney+ on August 23 with a two-episode premiere.
