We're now just a few weeks away from the premiere of Ahsoka on Disney+, and some promotional standees for the show have been shared online (via SFFGazette.com), giving us a new look at most of Tano's allies.
The images spotlight Rosario Dawson as the titular Force-wielder, Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, and Chopper the droid.
Of course, if you watched the acclaimed animated Star Wars Rebels series, you'll already be very familiar with the crew of The Ghost, most of whom will be making their live-action debuts in Ahsoka. We know from the trailers that Ezra Bridger (Eman Esfandi) will also make an appearance, but isn't expected to have a significant role.
There's no word on whether Zeb Orrelios, who showed up in CGI form in the recent third season of The Mandalorian, will be involved, but Lars Mikkelsen will reprise the role of Grand Admiral Thrawn, after providing the voice of the villain in the final season of Rebels.
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
The series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Kevin Kiner was announced as the series' composer.
Ahoska is written by executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside executive producers Favreau, Kennedy, Wilson, and Beck. Gilchrist is co-executive producer. The series’ directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.
