AHSOKA LEGO Sets Feature The Show's Spaceships As New Concept Art Hits Comic-Con's Show Floor

Newly released LEGO sets for Ahsoka tease some of the aerial action we can look forward to in the Star Wars TV series, while concept art from the show has hit the Comic-Con show floor in San Diego...

Lucasfilm won't be in attendance at this weekend's San Diego Comic-Con, a shame as we'd hoped to learn more about the three Star Wars movies announced at Celebration. However, the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes have seemingly put an end to that notion.

Still, this Galaxy Far, Far Away does have a presence in San Diego and concept art from next month's Ahsoka is currently on display in a booth hyping the show's launch. There's nothing overly revealing here, though we're sure you'll still appreciate these gorgeous pieces offering a better idea of the look and feel of the series.

Accompanying them are two LEGO sets highlighting some of the ships which will be featured in the live-action Star Wars Rebels follow-up.

Many of you are also going to be excited to learn that Hot Toys has confirmed plans to release 1/6th scale action figures based on the series. An Ahsoka Tano figure is a given, though we're keeping everything crossed for Grand Admiral Thrawn...and the entire Ghost crew!

You can check out the Ahsoka concept art, LEGO sets, and product announcements below (via SFFGazette.com).

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.

Ahsoka will launch exclusively on Disney+ on August 23 with a two-episode premiere.

I've loved Lego since I was a kid, but everything--especially IP-licensed stuff like Star Wars--is so damn overpriced.

What kid is going to want to own this crap?

Hey this red and grey vaguely triangle shaped Starfighter, sure beats the shit out of this other Box Shaped Blue and Grey Star Troop Carrier! Everything looks the same.

Disney is making kid's lives more depressing every day they exist.
These all just look like amorphous blobs.
