While a great deal of Tuesday's episode of Ahsoka was devoted to Ahsoka Tano's reunion with Anakin Skywalker, we also got to spend a decent amount of time with Hera Syndulla, Chopper, and Jacen Syndulla.
Unfortunately, we have a feeling they'll be taking a backseat for the rest of this series as the action shifts to another Galaxy Far, Far Away, but as well as confirming Kanan Jarrus' son is Force-sensitive, "Shadow Warrior" teases Princess Leia's secret role in this story.
As the hunt for Ahsoka and Sabine Wren continues. Captain Teva tells Hera that Senator Organa has told him that she can only cover for them for so long, confirming the Princess remained a Rebel at heart who could more than likely see where the New Republic was failing.
With HQ demanding Hera and Teva's X-Wing squadron return to base, Leia proved herself an ally of these heroes by buying them the valuable extra minutes they needed to fish Ahsoka out of Seatos' waters. As a result, the former Jedi and Huyang are able to follow the Purgill into the unknown in an effort to find Ezra Bridger.
Lucasfilm has also shared a handful of spoiler stills from the episode and, as you might expect, they currently keep the focus on everything that happened in the World Between Worlds (don't worry, though, as we have some hi-res screenshots here).
We're intrigued to find out who is featured on today's character posters should we get any and the studio should drop another round of images a few days from now.
In the meantime, you can take a look at these new shots from Ahsoka's fifth instalment below (via SFFGazette.com).
Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.
In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.
Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.
The first five episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.
