AHSOKA's Fifth Episode Is Said To Be "An Absolute Game Changer" - Possible SPOILERS

We've already heard some rumors relating to the fifth episode of Ahsoka, and a new report indicated that next week's instalment is going to be a "game changer" for the Star Wars universe...

Episode 4 of Disney+'s latest live-action Star Wars series, Ahsoka, is set to premiere tomorrow night, but it's next week's fifth instalment that's generating quite a lot of buzz on social media.

Josh from Den of Nerds has sent out a Tweet describing the episode, which will be directed by Dave Filoni, as an "absolute game changer," and If recent rumors are to be believed, this may not be hyperbole.

From what we can gather, episode 5 will feature an appearance from Anakin Skywalker (Hayden Christensen), but his scenes will involve more than just a simple flashback to his pre-Darth Vader days.

Apparently, Ahsoka Tano is going to experience some sort of vision of what would have occurred had the events of Revenge of the Sith played out differently, with her former master managing to defeat Obi-Wan Kenobi (Ewan McGregor is not expected to appear, with a dummy used to represent Kenobi's body).

Anakin is then believed to engage in a lightsaber duel with "Snips."

The outcome of their battle is unclear, but there's speculation that this alternate history might somehow inform future events, possibly even resulting in the creation of some kind of Star Wars Multiverse. This may sound a little far-fetched, but the show has already introduced the notion of travelling to "other galaxies" via the mysterious hyper-space ring built by Morgan Elsbeth, so we wouldn't rule it out.

As for this Tuesday's episode, we have heard it may include a flashback to the events of either Star Wars Rebels or The Clone Wars, but nothing has been confirmed.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

The series stars Rosario Dawson in the title role, with Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, with Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Kevin Kiner was announced as the series' composer.

Ahoska is written by executive producer Dave Filoni, alongside executive producers Favreau, Kennedy, Wilson, and Beck. Gilchrist is co-executive producer. The series’ directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel and Rick Famuyiwa.

Ahsoka isn’t for the bandwagoning normies, and it never needed to be

@PlusUltra - given the level of homework one would have to do to really follow what's going on in the show, I'd say you're right except the fact that they sort of did some hand holding the first couple episodes which suggests their goal was to bring in normies.

I've honestly been enjoying the show, but the slower moments could have been avoided had they just said, "screw it, we're going balls to the wall for the fans, screw the normies".

Not sure I’ve ever seen this guy break anything but maybe I’m wrong.

@regularmovieguy - He broke a lot of the recent Marvel news awhile ago. He has inside sources but doesn't share everything he hears with his audience only the stuff that he has other info pointing to it being true. I wish I could remember what it was but he put out some info like 3 months ago where he was attacked relentlessly for publishing fake news cause all the other people were reporting opposite news. Turned out he was right all along. If I remember I'll come back to tell you, I'm exhausted now and working on little sleep.

Normies is a word that autocorrects to Mormons and it’s not entirely wrong

(No offense Mormons)

He's probably right. Disney has a major problem of only being able to write McGuffin Hunt plots and to do multiverse type stories where all they do is insert new character into the role of another that is popular. Or they rewrite scenes from other stuff, even their own stuff, so that people will say things like "WOW, I remember that from that other thing I enjoyed!!!".

Is anyone else sick of "Multiverses", across the board? It seems like just an excuse now for lazy story writing, where writers don't want to go to the effort of writing stories in-continuity.

Haven’t they been saying that pretty much every episode of this mediocre show is a “game changer” 🤷‍♂️

I don't really see how discovering the existence of another galaxy outside of your own and then using a hyperspace ring to travel to a specific location within said galaxy equates to the Multiverse. I mean, the two are completely different concepts. In the real world we are already aware of roughly a bajillion (rounded to the nearest shitload) of other galaxies and just aren't yet capable of traveling there yet. That's a far cry from establishing the existence of a real-life Multiverse, where there are currently an infinite number of me's typing this same comment (hopefully some less long-winded than I tend to be).

Remember seeing a post when they was filming and Ahsoka was fighting either Vader or Maul in the dessert, people said it could of been fan fiction, but it looked like Rosario, that would be pretty cool to see

I am not feeling Rosaria as Ashoka unfortunately. Granted she is much older and would grow as a character from her youngerself. But outside of appearance I feel like its 2 completely different characters. I think the big "twist" is kinda obivous as well. I mean its not as bad as Boba Fett, but as far as live action star wars tv shows goes this is a solid 4th place for me.
