It feels like Star Wars: The Bad Batch has been flying under the radar to some extent, but the series has definitely done a good job of expanding on the Empire's transition from Clone Troopers to Stormtroopers, all while putting the spotlight on a fun group of characters (including some familiar faces).

Now, Lucasfilm and Disney+ have released an exciting mid-season sneak peek at what's to come in the rest of The Bad Batch's debut season on the streaming service.

There's a lot of fun teases here, and it's clear that Crosshairs is going to be gunning for his old teammates!

The Bad Batch follows the elite and experimental clones of the Bad Batch (first introduced in The Clone Wars) as they find their way in a rapidly changing galaxy in the immediate aftermath of the Clone War.

The series is executive produced by Dave Filoni (The Mandalorian), Athena Portillo (Star Wars Rebels), Brad Rau (Star Wars Resistance) and Jennifer Corbett (NCIS) with Carrie Beck (The Mandalorian) as co-executive producer and Josh Rimes as producer (Star Wars Resistance). Rau is also serving as supervising director with Corbett as head writer.

I like this show well enough, I think it's certainly a good addition to SW.

However, is this really the best spin-off they could do with the resources? Would've much preferred a Post-ROTJ show with this style.

Also, I think this would've been a cooler show if it were kind of an "Imperial Commando" show. And the turn away from the empire was more gradual. But they just instantly went on the run and lost the slow transformation from Republic to Empire.

I’m enjoying the show but it’s not really grabbing me to the point that I have to watch it as soon as it’s available. I’ll probably watch the latest episode this Sunday.

Been really liking the first half of the season, so look forward to the second half. Has the right balance between over-arching story and episodic nature, something (for obvious reasons) the Clone Wars didn't have.

All characters so far have been good enough for me to like them (yes, even the Martez sisters), but I already want more Cad Bane. Hoping we get that Bane-Boba duel.
