STAR WARS: AHSOKA May Include A Surprise Cameo From [SPOILER] When It Debuts On Disney+ Next Year

A very interesting new rumour about Ahsoka has started doing the rounds suggesting the upcoming Disney+ TV series will feature a cameo appearance from a Star Wars Legend. Find more details after the jump!

Ahsoka Tano wasn't exactly embraced by Star Wars fans when she first appeared in The Clone Wars, but as the years went by, she quickly became a firm fan favourite. Now, she's among the most widely loved Star Wars characters you can find, and Rosario Dawson's live-action interpretation of the Jedi has been embraced in a big way.

First appearing in The Mandalorian, this Ahsoka would later show up in The Book of Boba Fett for her first on-screen meeting with Luke Skywalker.

That was a huge moment for Star Wars fans and Dave Filoni has since suggested that the first time they crossed paths could be something he explores down the line. The question is, could that take place in Ahsoka?

A comment left on The Guardian's review of Andor recently grabbed the attention of the r/StarWarsLeaks subreddit and, as you can see below, it's looking like Luke will be part of Ahsoka. This is a very random place for someone to drop false info in the hope it gets picked up by websites, so we're thinking that what they're saying is true as it does seem pretty believable.

If so, they might have just got their husband in big trouble!

Ahsoka takes place in the same timeframe as the rest of the post-Return of the Jedi TV shows on Disney+, so another appearance from Luke can't be off the table. That might be a flashback or the revelation that he played a role in whatever came next for Ezra Bridger following the conclusion of Star Wars Rebels.

As is so often the case, we'll just have to wait and see. However, a Luke Skywalker appearance would blow the minds of fans, especially if it means we get a real team-up between the two heroes (lightsabers and all). It would also be fun to see Luke cross paths with some of the other Rebel heroes who once boarded the Ghost and fought Grand Admiral Thrawn.

Ahsoka is currently set to premiere on Disney+ sometime in 2023.

If this is true I hope its a flashback to how they first met. Filoni was talking about telling that story at some point - seems like a pretty ideal place to do it.

@Nightwing1015 - I think I’d be more interested in that flashback than seeing him in real time. Would secretly love to get both though.

Use this and reboot Luke’s story from here…. Erase everything from force awakens onward.

@spideysense - I didn't even hate the sequel trilogy as much as most. I didn't like it all that much, but I didn't think it was a crime against humanity either. (Except episode 10)

But I would be perfectly fine with them erasing it all.

@CorndogBurglar - Episode 10? Either you got some crystal ball (please share) or I'm confused and am missing something

@CorndogBurglar - oh yeah, I don't like that one at all either. Maybe in 10 years

SW related, but off topic:

I hate this as much as digitally recreating deceased actors, but it is what it is.

@Feralwookiee - Probably pissed off at how much they effed with his performance in Obi Wan. Like, if they're just gonna recreate one of his earlier performances anyway, why even bother?

@Feralwookiee - I think it's better tham digitally recreating actors, but still unnecessary. They already have someone who can do a spot-on Darth Vader in Scott Lawrence

@ObserverIO - Agreed. It just feels unnatural and wrong to me.

I hope that if it's flashbacks, it's not as extensive as in Boba Fett. I rather just see the story be told chronologically instead, because Bona Fett's structure didn't really work for me.

ugh more CGI smooth, AI voice Luke instead of an actual human playing an interesting character? nah

"Surprise"

The ending of their interaction in TBoBF looked pretty much as a "we will see each other again in my show" sooo...

I wouldn't be at all mad if we get scene with Luke, Ahsoka and Force ghost Anakin conversing.

Of course it will feature a cameo. Every Disney Star Wars and Marvel movie or TV series will feature cameos.

Off topic: Great actress and one of the most iconic movie villains of all time in Cuckoo's Nest. Rest in peace.
