STAR WARS: AHSOKA Video Reveals Many Of The Hidden Easter Eggs In Sabine Wren's Lothal Lookout

Ahsoka is Star Wars Rebels season 5 in all but name, though that's proven to be no bad thing for fans of the animated series. After years of waiting for the big Ezra Bridger/Grand Admiral Thrawn cliffhanger to be resolved, their respective fates were finally revealed a couple of weeks ago.

While the show is definitely accessible for non-Rebels fans, there are heaps of Easter Eggs bound to go over the heads of those who haven't watched the show.

However, even the most devoted followers of the Ghost crew probably failed to pick up on the many nods to Rebels in Sabine Wren's Lothal Lookout. Some were more obvious than others, of course, but this video (via SFFGazette.com) reveals we missed everything from Ursa Wren's hair clip to Ezra Bridger's scout trooper helmet and even a puffer pig doodle.

There's even a brightly painted barrel that we believe could have been taken from the customised TIE Fighter stolen by Sabine and her fellow Rebels several years before the events of Ahsoka take place.

Talking earlier this year about how she prepared for the show, Sabine actress Natasha Liu Bordizzo said, "I watched [Star Wars Rebels] with the intention of capturing the essence of the character and having almost this free storage bank of memories to go from, that they'd already worked so hard to create."

"It was awesome as an actor to have that. But then live action is so different. So I absorbed it all, and then forgot it all at the same time - somewhere in the balance of that."

Take a closer look at these newly revealed Ahsoka Easter Eggs in the video below.

Set after the fall of the Empire, Ahsoka follows the former Jedi Knight Ahsoka Tano as she investigates an emerging threat to a vulnerable galaxy.

In addition to Rosario Dawson in the title role, the series stars Natasha Liu Bordizzo as Sabine Wren, Mary Elizabeth Winstead as Hera Syndulla, the late Ray Stevenson as Baylan Skoll, Ivanna Sakhno as Shin Hati, Diana Lee Inosanto as Morgan Elsbeth, David Tennant as Huyang, Lars Mikkelsen as Grand Admiral Thrawn, and Eman Esfandi appearing as Ezra Bridger.

Ahsoka was written by Dave Filoni, who executive produces alongside Jon Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, and Carrie Beck. Directors include Filoni, Steph Green, Peter Ramsey, Jennifer Getzinger, Geeta Vasant Patel, and Rick Famuyiwa.

Seven of eight episodes of Ahsoka are now streaming on Disney+.

I wish more actors adapting characters took this approach
