Star Wars: Skeleton Crew began shooting back in June, and Bespin Bulletin (via SFFGazette.com) recently managed to nab a few photos from the set of the secretive Disney+ TV series.

Cameras are rolling primarily at Manhattan Beach Studios, the home of shows like The Mandalorian and The Book of Boba Fett. Ahsoka has also been there recently, so it's safe to say the series - set in the same timeframe as the rest of these post-Return of the Jedi projects - will be making use of The Volume.

However, Skeleton Crew is doing some work on location and has also recently been at California State University at Dominguez Hills.

The site managed to snap some shots of a mystery vehicle hidden by a tarp and, upon closer inspection, it definitely looks like one of the armoured assault tanks used by the Separatists in The Phantom Menace. We do wonder whether those ships will make a return in the show.

After all, it's no secret that some Battle Droids survived their deactivation during Order 66, while we're sure that old Separatist technology could have been repurposed by someone (Jude Law's character, perhaps?).

As for Star Wars: The Acolyte, that's filming in Shinfield Studios in Berkshire, England. Construction is underway on what looks like a suitably alien locale, though is quite obviously a long way off from being finished. When cameras are rolling, security is likely to be tight and that means these photos are probably as good as it's going to get for the foreseeable future.

Set during The High Republic Era, the expectation is that the show will put a very different spin on the Star Wars Universe. After all, it's set hundreds of years before The Phantom Menace at a time when the Jedi were at the height of their power, so this Galaxy Far, Far Away should be almost unrecognisable.

Doesn’t The Acolyte take place 100 years before The Phantom Menace?

I think the Seperatist stuff might be a flashback for Jude Law's character, because it doesn't fit the timeframe of The Acolyte at all.

As for Jude Law's character, do we know if he's a Jedi? Because I'm willing to bet he is.
