AHSOKA Star Natasha Liu Bordizzo Rumored To Make Debut As Sabine Wren In THE MANDALORIAN Season 3

Ahsoka star Natasha Liu Bordizzo recently took to Instagram to share a photo of a very cool gift given to her by showrunner Dave Filoni. Signed by various cast and crew, it also features a sketch of Sabine Wren (by Filoni) that appears to reveal how the Star Wars Rebels character will look for her live-action debut next year.

It's pretty much in line with what we saw in animation, though that will be welcomed by fans.

Sabine's hair is a little longer than when we last saw her, but that was the case early on in Rebels, anyway. The biggest talking point, however, is completely unrelated to this artwork (which you can check out in the Tweet below via SFFGazette.com).

StarWarsNews.net recently shared a speculative piece about Bordizzo making her debut as this hero in next February's third season of The Mandalorian. The site points out that it makes sense due to her history with the Darksaber and points to evidence they've unearthed about that show shooting around the same time cameras were rolling on Ahsoka

Since then, Star Wars scooper Jordan Maison has taken to Twitter to confirm that we will indeed see Sabine in The Mandalorian, which does seem like a perfect place to have her debut.

It's important to remember that there will be many fans who have never watched Star Wars Rebels. With that in mind, using the most popular live-action series to familiarise fans with the Ghost crew member is a smart move and one that should only help increase excitement for the story that will play out in Ahsoka.

Its looking more and more like Favreau and Filoni lost the Canon battle. What they did with Luke in s2 finale to then fully retract those actions in Boba Fett soon after. The island being confirmed to be his eventual place of idiocracy where he will attempt to assassinate Leias sleeping son down the line. Its been very limited and small Easter eggs, but its obvious they are connecting it to the sequel trilogy. And I'll completely check out at that point as the ST is so far from real SW as none of the characters act like the characters we love. I think Mando s3 is the beginning of the end. Hopefully Filoni is allowed to let Ahsoka stand on its own.
