THE CLONE WARS Star Katee Sackhoff Weighs In On Potentially Returning As Bo-Katan In THE MANDALORIAN

Katee Sackhoff has played Bo-Katan Kryze in both The Clone Wars and Star Wars Rebels, and near the end of the latter's run, she was presented with the Darksaber by Sabine Wren. However, by the time that weapon returned in The Mandalorian, Moff Gideon was the one wielding it.

Needless to say, there's clearly a story behind how the former Imperial officer managed to get his hands on that ancient weapon, and it's hard not to wonder whether we might see a live-action version of Bo-Katan in the Disney+ series (potentially played by Sackhoff).

Well, that's something Discussing Film recently asked the actress about, and she's understandably keen to be given the opportunity to return as the Mandalorian character on Disney+.

"I mean, who wouldn’t! I grew up watching Star Wars. I grew up obsessed with Star Wars. Part of what I loved about playing Starbuck was that she reminded me of Han. I absolutely love that world and it’s part of the reason why I took The Clone Wars and wanted to play Bo to begin with," she said.

"That being said, of course, there are people that are going to jump to conclusions that Bo is going to be in The Mandalorian because on paper, it does make sense," Sackhoff continued. "But you know, we’ll just have to wait and see and cross all my fingers and toes. You never know."

If Gideon has the Darksaber, chances are Bo-Katan is no longer alive, but a flashback of some sort could easily reveal how she lost it in the first place. We'll just have to wait and see what happens!

Would you like to see Sackhoff enter the live-action Star Wars Universe in The Mandalorian?

I think it wouldn't make sense if she appears in The Mandalorian (atleast not in the present day). Gideon has the lightsaber, and he seems like the type of guy that doesn't leave the original owner alive

@MalseMarcel - She is perfect for playing Bo-Katan Kryze in a live action show.

I don't think Katee Sackhoff can have a big turnout on the Show, but if they are going to include the story of Gideon and the Darksaber ... She has a role.

@MalseMarcel - I agree that if he took the darksaber by force, it would make the most sense for him to have killed Bo in the process. I'd rather have Sabine as our connection to the past of Mandalore anyway.

Maybe it's just a coincidence, but she was hanging out with Sasha Banks and Brendan Wayne back in december>
