THE MANDALORIAN Character Poster Finally Sees Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand Take Center Stage

Lucasfilm has released another character poster for season two of The Mandalorian, and this one puts the spotlight on Ming-Na Wen's Fennec Shand following her return as an ally to Boba Fett and Din Djarin.

There are just a few short days to go before The Mandalorian's season two finale arrives on Disney+, and we'll then be left waiting until this time next year for the series to return. If things end on a cliffhanger, then that's going to be a long wait, but it's clear the stage is being set for Din Djarin to battle the Darksaber wielding Moff Gideon with Grogu's fate hanging in the balance.

During the latest episode, titled "The Believer," Bill Burr's former Imperial sharpshooter, Mayfeld, finally returned. Redeeming himself after helping Din, Boba Fett, Cara Dune, and Fennec Shand infiltrate one of the Empire's bases, it's only fitting that he take centre stage on a poster like this one.

Unfortunately for him, that doesn't happen! Instead, it's Ming-Na Wen's (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) Fennec who receives the spotlight. While that's understandable given her increased presence in season two, it definitely felt like it might be Mayfeld's time due to what a crucial part of "Chapter 15" he was.

Then again, we would have also enjoyed seeing Boba's new armour here. As it stands, we can't complain too much about Fennec getting a character poster, and it's a badass piece of artwork.

Fennec was in the Bad Batch trailer, right? I really need to give the animated shows another go.

@Kyos - The animation for Rebels isn't great, but the storytelling is superb. You can skip Resistance though.

Say what you like about Disney Star Wars but everything they've done has had great Star Wars-y names. Even the sequels. Every character has a name which really makes them sound like they belong in that universe.

Loves me some Ming-Na and she continues to kick ass even a she matures, not unlike Michelle Yeoh. Message to Hollywood, the mature ladies gets it done as well.
