In yesterday's episode of The Mandalorian, Bo-Katan Kryze led a group of her fellow helmeted warriors to Mandalore in an effort to find the planet's forge and bring more of their people home.
Moff Gideon, however, has other ideas and plans to once again lay waste to the planet and its people, reshaping their home in his own twisted image. One fan-favourite character has fallen, while Din Djarin has been captured by the Imperial and may not live to fight another day if Gideon has anything to say about it.
For fans disappointed with The Mandalorian's current third season, "The Spies" was a return to form for the Disney+ series and next week's finale promises to be nothing short of epic.
We're a little concerned about social media chatter that the episode will only be around 20 minutes long but, with any luck, there's nothing to it. After all, there's a lot of story left to tell heading into this finale and Jon Favreau surely has something bigger planned when it comes to wrapping up this surprisingly divisive third season.

We now have some new concept art and spoiler stills from the episode (via SFFGazette.com), showcasing a number of key moments and characters.
Gideon has a large presence, as do both his and Bo-Katan's respective armies. There are also a couple of terrific shots of Grogu piloting "IG-12," The Child's new means of transportation while accompanying his fellow Mandalorians into battle.
The stills don't reveal much, though we'd expect more to be shared by Disney and Lucasfilm a couple of days from now.
