THE MANDALORIAN's Latest Episode Sees Bo-Katan Kryze Further Embrace "The Way" - SPOILERS

Bo-Katan Kryze appears to be making herself at home as part of The Watch, and she didn't hesitate to blast into action when Ragnar, the son of Paz Vizla, was snatched by a raptor that resides near The Armorer's secret Mandalorian enclave.

Leading a hunting party that includes Din Djarin and Vizla (who certainly seems to be coming around to his fellow helmeted warriors), Bo-Katan successfully manages to retrieve the kid...and three of the raptor's babies. Needless to say, if we don't see a few Mandalorians flying them into battle somewhere down the line, we'll be disappointed!

Grogu On The Night Of Order 66 And Features [SPOILER]'s Debut

During the fight to retrieve Ragnar, Bo-Katan loses one of her pauldrons and is offered a replacement by The Armorer. She declines the symbol of the Nite Owls and instead chooses the Mythosaur, deciding to wear both.

She finally tells The Armorer what she saw in the Living Waters beneath the ruins of Mandalore, but it appears the clan's leader thinks Bo-Katan was likely just seeing things now she follows "The Way." There's a hint that the clan's leader might believe her newest acolyte, but it's hard to say for sure.

Remember, the ancient creature is the stuff of legend and, even those who believe it was real, have been told that it went extinct thousands of years ago. It seems Bo-Katan will have to eventually prove it exists, though what that will mean for her place in this group - and the remaining Mandalorians in general - remains to be seen.

There are a lot of different theories floating around about Bo-Katan's intentions, though it really doesn't appear as if she's planning to betray her newfound allies.

Yes, she may hope to lead them at some point, but everything we see here suggests the warrior is just happy to have finally found some kinship among her people after years of fighting.

Where do you think Bo-Katan's story could be heading following the events of "The Foundling"?

I feel like they're setting up for her death. I hope not.

@bobevanz - I feel like they are setting up for her to take over as The Mandalore.

If you allow youself to walk on The Way, there's no going back.

Last episode sucked, but this episode was damn good.

@Doomsday8888 -

Last episode was more setup for future events and is likely very important to this season down the road.

I enjoyed it for the character development and world building plus the acting from the leads was fantastic, but I can see how others wouldn't if they're just looking for episodes to be more Mando-action specific.

I love Grogu's crappy FX, so reminiscent of the original movies while also working side by side with the excellent digital FX in this episode. But I had trouble believing that monster flew around with that kid in its mouth for a day and a half until convenience struck

Was a good episode and didn't notice how short it was to be honest. i like that they're fleshing out Grogu's back story as there's alot of potential there having it span so many years.

on another note

This guy has found redemption..glad for him.

@UniqNo - Hopefully his "redemption" is the realization he never had anything to redeem but his self-confidence. Jar Jar is fine. Bullies are not.

@TheVandalore - For real! the guy was near suicide and didn't work for a long time. Shit was not cool.

Also on your other post, i also thought it was Mace for that second, i don't think it's racist as the guys's robes were more or less the same colour and his silouette was very similar.

@TheVandalore - You also couldn't see his hand so i immediatley thought he survived getting launched outside that window.

@UniqNo - yeah, I kinda thought it was a deliberate fake out, but I don't think it was.

When the elevator doors opened, for half of a second I believed they actually did it!

Then I realized I might be slightly racist.

Want to know more about what happened to Grogu. Sure, he escaped the initial purge but that was a long time before this show is set. How did he end up in the Empires clutches? Would love to see more of his solo adventures in flashbacks.

So we waited 3 seasons for Grogu’s origin, and it’s literally just ‘he escapes’. 3 seasons for what felt like an afterthought, so painfully bland. Mandalorian’s in ep 1 - walk into a beasts home and kill it. Mandalorian’s in ep 4 - walk into a beast’s nest and kill it, leaving 3 children to be brought up by their mother’s murderers. Maybe these guys are..bad guys? Honestly just such a vast drop in quality. The editing, the staging, the absolutely aimless plotting. Brutal stuff
