Zachary Quinto of Star Trek Into Darkness and Heroes fame, will co-star in Fox's sequel to the 2007 Hitman video game movie alongside Homeland actor Rupert Friend.

Zachary Quinto signs up for the Hitman video game movie from Fox


Zachary Quinto has an unspecified role in the upcoming Hitman sequel from Fox. Rupert Friend has also been confirmed as replacing Paul Walker as the title character. Shooting is expected to begin in March. Details on the plot of the film are being kept under wraps. Commercial helmer Aleksander Bach is making his feature film debut and will direct from a script penned by Kyle Ward (Machete Kills), Skip Woods (Hitman ’07, X-Men Origins: Wolverine) and Michael Finch (Predators ’10). The 2007 Hitman film earned $100M worldwide off a $24M production budget.
