Over at IGN,
Last week, the folks behind DC Universe Online announced that the MMO would go free to play at the end of October. However, if you go the free route and don't chip in any of your own money, you won't be earning any PlayStation Network Trophies. Free players have access to the entire game, but their actions won't unlock Sony's answer to Microsoft's Achievement Points. To earn the trinkets, players have to pay $5 to become a Premium member or $15 to become a Legendary member.
Are you planning to take on DC Universe Online when it goes free to play? Are you planning on giving the MMO any money? Let us know in the comments below.
