Primatologist Davis Okoye (Johnson), a man who keeps people at a distance, shares an unshakable bond with George, the extraordinarily intelligent, silverback gorilla who has been in his care since birth. But a rogue genetic experiment gone awry mutates this gentle ape into a raging creature of enormous size. To make matters worse, it’s soon discovered there are other similarly altered animals. As these newly created alpha predators tear across North America, destroying everything in their path, Okoye teams with a discredited genetic engineer to secure an antidote, fighting his way through an ever-changing battlefield, not only to halt a global catastrophe but to save the fearsome creature that was once his friend.

Kyrie Irving is out for the rest of the season. How are you feeling @Kman?

@TexasAvenger - not terrible about it actually... just shut him down. This season has been an absolute success considering the circumstances.

But he still wasn't a character in the game, and yet he's the star... Not cool. But if he starts climbing buildings I may allow it.

I am actually thinking this movie will be a fun popcorn flick, but I am a little confused about something.

Why did the croc and the wolf mutate and the Gorilla did not? Maybe that will be explained in the movie.

@JoeMomma29 - they don't explain why. He just got bigger and angrier. The others really mutated and gained special abilities for some reason.George actually had a personality though in the movie and his CG is really great.

I was always Lizzie and played it all the time on my Sega Master System. And I feel no nostalgia and see no need for this film.

Went to the screening for this yesterday. The tonal mix is half and half. Most parts it takes itself very serious and the tries to be some kind of comedy. The bad guys, are played by the chick from watchmen and some guy both are horrible and add nothing in to the movie just boring exposition and the reason why the three monsters get together. The rock is the rock. This is thw most phoned in I've ever seen him. All in 'll the fx were great, there at some good laughs but it definitely needed more RAMPAGING. There are just a couple of shots of them climbing buildings and eating people.

Will this be the first good video game movie? I thought Tomb Raider was alright, not great, but not horrible like Assassins Creed.

@RickGrimes95 - Don't forget about Mortal Kombat! That movie is great and people often forget about it when discussing video game adaptations.
