i just think it sucks that you don't actually play as any of the DC characters. you create your own character. its basically city of heroes with DC characters from everything i can tell.

Corndog- Really?!?!?!? You don't play as the DC characters... that does blow.... I have played Justice League heroes and that was an awesome game...

I'm excited to see how an MMO does on the PS3... When I played it at Comic Con, it seemed more natural than the mouse and keyboard. They said that they've built it specifically FOR the PS3, so it *should* rock...

You create your own character, which kind of stinks BUT, when you get into trouble, you can call in the Justice League to help you out, etc, to help prevent the veterans from squashing the newbs. You also team up for different missions, etc, with various DC characters (or villains, as the case may be).

The problem with playing the traditional DC characters is deciding who gets to play them... In an MMO that's near impossible...

The other bad news is that they don't even have an official launch date yet. They told me at the Comic Con that they're hoping to have it out 2010, but that they're still in the Alpha testing stages :o(

Wait... its _ONLY_ on PS3? Every time I saw that I assumed the standard 'and PC' was just left out.... but its really ONLY PS3... laaaaame

No its both PC & PS3.

Its a Mass Multi-player Online Game (MMOG).

You get to create your own hero to run with the DC characters. You will be able to team and fight bad guys and other players that choose to fight. You will be able to play both Hero and Villian.

yeah, it kind of sucks. i liked city of heroes, but its different because no one in that game was a real character. i don't want to play a DC game where you can't be any of the DC characters...what a tease
