It was announced last week that Halo fans will finally get a proper look at the long-awaited live-action video game adaptation this Sunday during halftime of the AFC Championship Game, and Paramount+ has now debuted some exciting new footage via a brief teaser.
The promo doesn't reveal much, but we do get some cool new shots of Pablo Schreiber's Master Chief as he prepares for battle.
The big-budget series is expected to stick pretty close to the premise of the original game, as an "epic 26th-century conflict between humanity and an alien threat known as the Covenant" plays out. The show is expected to "weave deeply drawn personal stories with action, adventure and a richly imagined vision of the future."
Halo will also star Natascha McElhone as Dr. Catherine Halsey, Yerin Ha as Kwan Ha, Charlie Murphy as Makee, Shabana Azmi as Admiral Margaret Parangosky, Bokeem Woodbine as Soren-066, Olive Gray as Miranda Keyes, Kate Kennedy as Kai-125, Natasha Culzac as Riz-028, Bentley Kalu as Vannak-134, Danny Sapani as Captain Jacob Keyes, and Jen Taylor as the voice of Cortana.
No premiere date has been announced, but we should find out when the show is set to air this Sunday when the trailer is released.
