Tonight, on The Last of Us, Ellie (Bella Ramsey) faces her greatest challenge yet as she must continue to do her best to keep Joel (Pedro Pascal) safe and alive, while also fighting off a dangerous new threat in the mysterious David (Scott Shepherd) and his group of survivors.
While we won't get into any further details about what's heading our way in episode eight, in the game, this is a pivotal chapter for Ellie and, based on the promo and latest batch of stills, it looks like the upcoming hour will be a fairly faithful adaptation, save for her trademark bow and arrow.
The new stills also feature Troy Baker, who plays an original character named James. For anyone unfamiliar with his work, Baker is the original mo-cap actor behind Joel in The Last of Us and The Last of Us Part II video games, so his cameo is certainly a welcome surprise.
His original co-star Ashley Johnson, who plays Ellie in the games, is also slated to appear in the series as Ellie's mother Anna, but she won't make her debut until next week's season finale.
