The highly-anticipated season finale of The Last of Us airs this Sunday, and HBO has now shared a series of new promo stills for "Look for the Light."

Mild spoilers follow.

If you've played the Naughty Dog video game, you should be familiar with some of the scenes these images are teasing (yes, there will be a giraffe!), but the episode opens with an all-new sequence that hasn't been adapted from the game.

Ashley Johnson, who provides the voice of Ellie in the games, plays the character's mother in the show. We see her giving birth under very stressful circumstances, before...

We won't say any more, but star Bella Ramsey believes viewers are going to find the episode in question "massively divisive."

“It was… exhausting,” she tells Vogue of filming last week's intense penultimate hour. "But those were some of my favourite days on set. That sounds really masochistic, but it’s the scenes that break me that I love the most, in a way.” As for what she thinks people will make of the finale? “It’s going to divide people massively – massively.”

Check out the stills below, and let us know how you think things are going to play out.

The Last of Us is set 20 years after modern civilization has been destroyed and centers on the relationship between Joel, a smuggler in this new world, and Ellie, a teenager who may be key to a cure for a deadly pandemic. Joel, a hardened survivor, is hired to smuggle the 14-year-old girl out of an oppressive quarantine zone. What starts as a small job soon becomes a brutal, heartbreaking journey as they traverse the U.S. and depend on each other for survival.

Craig Mazin (Chernobyl) and the game's creator Neil Druckmann wrote and exec produced the show.
