With HBO’s hit series Boardwalk Empire currently on Hiatus actor Micheal K Williams, who plays Chalky White on the series plans to keep himself busy. Yesterday morning it was announced that he would be joining the cast of Paul Feig’s Ghostbusters staring Kristen Wiig (Despicable Me 2, Bridesmaids) and Melissa McCarthy (Spy, Tammy). The reboot of the 1984 comedy classic is
currently filming in Boston. So speculation is he will be joining the production soon. Williams’ character, however, is currently unknown.
Variety is also reporting that the star is set for a lead role in New Regency’s upcoming
Assassin’s Creed movie directed by Justin Kurrzel. Williams joins a cast that already includes Michael Fassbender (
X-Men: Days of Future Past, Slow West), Marion Cotillard (
The Dark Knight Rises, Inception) and Ariane Labed (
Before Midnight). Set to begin filming this fall details on Michael K. Williams’s role are few, though his character has the potential to appear in multiple films
