These movies suck other than the exceptional Mila Jojovich. I just wish this movie would be good more than visually. It looks stunning. But you can't help but hire a director who has failed the entire trilogy and has a cross over of franchises, making him a cash cow, and a movie that is called "Death Race".

Its fine Alice is fine but they should have at least connected this story with the Game stories a little bit?!

in RE5 there was a "History of Resident Evil" document you could find that tied the movies into the games a little bit with the mention of project A.L.O.S (Alice) and there was a mild appearance of Wesker in the last flick...overall though..i'm gonna watch this movie like a thousand times b/c i love this whole franchise that much

i kept dozeing off during silent hill....waaay boring, was hopeing for better. the only good resident evil was the first one which was the only one Anderson was completely devoted to. Great paceing, locations, cast, soundtrack....did you know that was Marilyn Manson on that. it was my favorite Zombie flick til Zack Snyder blew it away with Dawn of the Dead.....he needs to sequel that by the way.

That second trailer for Resident Evil: Afterlife actually almost makes me happy to see it. For one reason.

They did what I thought that they were gonna do and they took a page out of the video game version's universe (Resident Evil 5) and it shows that Wesker is a bad ass.

Wesker is a staple of Resident Evil, and if you remember from RE5 he is trying to become a god by using the T-Virus and everything. In the game, he was a freak of nature and it was glorious.

If the movieverse does that with Wesker, I predict he will steal that whole movie and be the high point of it all.

Never been a big fan of Ali Larter and her playing Claire Redfield has always bothered me, but hey I will roll with it. Wentworth Miller playing brother Chris should be a nice touch. Its about time they get Chris in the movies. Mila is what Mila is, she is Mila and he is hot and glorious.

This movie finally has something to do with the games.
Wesker is a mother[frick]ing bad ass in the games. Its cool how they are keeping it fresh with the Las Plagas. Hopefully they have the uroboros virus in there as well.
This movie will revive the series, they just need a reaper, and a couple chainsaw guys with buralp masks and this would be the ultimate Resident Evil flick to date.
Dont get me wrong Apocalypse was the shit, but this looks epic.

I think we need to put up the definition of the word "epic." I understand it pretty much takes the place of "cool." However, much like the word ignorant, I believe its usage has been beaten to the point of where it takes the place of most adjectives and loss its entire meaning. Another example, inconceivable. Here's a quick note with the help from dictionary.com


"epic"

as an adjective -

1. Of, constituting, having to do with, or suggestive of a literary epic.
2. Surpassing the usual or ordinary, particularly in scope or size.
3. Heroic and impressive in quality.

This movie, is none of these things.

Holy shit... I know I was talking shit about the franchise earlier, but this actually looks incredible. No, the special effects look terrible... and I don't care much for Alice being the focus... but I love that they're using RE 5 as inspiration this time. Biggest surprise being the use of that psycho, WESKER(!!!!!!!!). I'd love to see more of Jill, finally see Chris, Leon, and Ada, too, but if they just load that movie up with Wesker I'll be happy, also.
