Paul Dini will not be returning to write sequel to Batman: Arkham City

Paul Dini, writer of the awarding winning Batman: Arkham Asylum and Batman: Arkham City has announced he will not be returning to write the sequel to Arkham City. Dini tweeted ‘Kinda hoped I’d be doing another Arkham game in London during the Olympics. Esp, as I had a good source for tx. Ah, well,’ he said. He later tweeted ‘Are you working on another arkham game? No,’ and ‘I would if I could, but it’s not my call.’

Why wouldn't they hire him for another? The duration two were great! Also, does this kinda confirm that they are making another sequel?

It's well written but you could add a picture or banner next time.

I wonder why they don't want Dini back though, seems illogical to me.

Well seeing as the next game in the series is a prequel with the entire justice league they perhaps thought they'd go in a different direction.

Although also heard is set I. The silver age, so hoping they are not going to "camp" it up and Dini was seen as being too dark for the new game.

Or perhaps with it being a prequel someone has just pitched a better story, who knows?

But now your free Mr. Dini could you please start running DC Entertainment in a role similar to Fiege at Marvel?

@Iron Dean I would love to get an array of Bat vehicles what the series has been missing.

Also I would enjoy not knowing 'Who Done It' until the end so can have multiple endings based on how many clues etc you get throughout.

This doesn't mean he won't be returning just that he's not working on an arkham story right now while he's in London where, where those games are made

Besides that add a picture to the teaser, cap the first letter to all the words on your headline, and put names in all caps. Teaser make sure it's at least 3 lines long.

the ending of arkham city sucked so much i nearly puked. It was beyond cheesy. So batman leaves talia inside the place and doesnt give a damn when she dies and takes joker with him, his biggest enemy? Its ridiculous. It was like a james bond movie when 007 looses a girl he takes them out in his arms. Basically the second one was so flawed unlike arkham asylum.
