In a Twitter post earlier this morning, the official
Kingdom Hearts account announced the release date of the highly-anticipated third installment into the fan-favorite franchise, along with debuting a short 10-second teaser that you can view
HERE.
During Disney’s video game presentation at 2015’s D23 Expo,
Kingdom Hearts III producer Shinji Hashimoto announced that Square Enix’s highly anticipated role-playing game will feature a world inspired by the movie
Big Hero 6. And, of course, the franchise will continue to feature Disney fan-favorites, such as Donald Duck and Goofy.
Thus far, there have been 8 worlds (plus the
Big Hero 6 one) confirmed for the upcoming game:

Yen Sid's Tower (Kingdom Hearts II)

Old Mansion (Kingdom Hearts II)

Kingdom of Corona (Tangled)

Monsters, Inc. Factory (Monsters, Inc.)
Kingdom Hearts III is expected to hit shelves on
January 29, 2019, releasing on PlayStation 4 & XBOX One.
It will be released five days earlier in Japan on
January 25, 2019.
