An image is doing the rounds on the world-wide web showing a billboard from Naughty Dog’s upcoming adventure game The Last of Us.
The image in question is causing fans of Naughty Dog’s work to go mental with conspiracies as the image is taken from The Last of Us and shows a billboard with a clear date on it, a date for the in-game evacuation which could be a hint towards future announcements.
Check out the image below and feel free to conspire your theory.
Naughty Dog previously hinted at a future project in Uncharted 3: Drakes Deception. A newspaper in the British pub could be found which hints towards a zombie apocalypse, which is incidentally the backdrop for the bleak world being presented in The Last of Us.
The date, 10/17/13 or 17th November 2013 for us could be a hint towards a number of things, some think it’s the release date of the PlayStation 4, others theorise that it’s the date of Uncharted 4‘s release/announcement. Personally, I don’t know what to think. The past 3 months have been rumour after rumour, hint after hint, I just can’t keep sane with all the non-confirmed information! Though if I had to put money on it, I’d say it’s a date that corresponds with Naughty Dog’s next game, most likely Uncharted 4. Release date’s for consoles are tricky business and I don’t think Naughty Dog would have put the PlayStation 4′s release date in the game when there’s the chance it could be delayed and the date would be irrelevant. Then again, the same could be said about game release… Just give us information, hard, solid and undisputable facts! Please! End the suffering!
