So according to "Sneak Peek" blog they've started and writer/director Michael J. Bassett (Solomon Kane) is there too at the helm.
Movie will be in 3D and the producer is Don Carmody (Resident Evil).

Silent Hill is the best video game adaptation to date from Hollywood and can't wait to see the sequel, how about you?
