Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment and DC Entertainment have announced that a new update for the Batman: Arkham City Lockdown App for iPad, iPhone and iPod touch is available now. The update includes a brand new level featuring Harley Quinn, a Bruce Wayne skin and achievements, all for free. In addition, the Batman, Inc. skin is now available for purchase.

The new level expands the World of Gotham City as Batman must track down the Infamous Harley Quinn. Players must fight their way through Harley’s henchmen and can enjoy all new gameplay, using Batman’s Batarangs in a timed showdown.

About Batman: Arkham City Lockdown

Developed by NetherRealm Studios, creators of Mortal Kombat, Batman: Arkham City Lockdown features several of Gotham City’s most dangerous criminals, including The Joker, Two-Face and Solomon Grundy, as well as iOS-exclusive character Deathstroke, and engages players in one-on-one combat as they seek justice in a variety of Arkham City environments.

Batman: Arkham City Lockdown takes advantage of AirPlay, one of the newly released features in iOS 5, enabling players to wirelessly stream their gameplay experience on their iPad2 or iPhone 4S to their HDTV using Apple TV.

The Batman: Arkham City Lockdown App is available for $5.99 from the App Store on iPad, iPhone and iPod touch or at www.itunes.com/appstore.

ComicBookMovie.com and Best Little Sites was the brainchild of Nate and a friend way back in 2002. Nate initially focused on the back-end programming and front-end design, but now manages the company and its associated sites as well, with a LOT of help from some very talented contributors.

Nate has loved comics from a very young age and continues to read them on a regular basis thanks to subscriptions to various titles (both Marvel and DC). He also loves movies, as his wife and children will attest. He's not overly critical of movies, so his reviews should be taken with a grain of salt as he's much more interested in being entertained and escaping the "real" world for a couple of hours than finding every conceivable plot-hole and character flaw in a film.

Outside of his guilty "nerdy" pleasures, Nate enjoys spending time with his wife and three boys, CrossFit, playing guitar, coaching youth sports and MMA (he spent a couple of years in the cage as an NHB fighter, but is now MUCH too old).

The first game was amazing and definitely one of my favorite games ever. I had high hopes for the sequel and found myself let down. It was good but not great. I enjoyed playing it but thought it was too short and too easy to beat. I wish they would have let you play as robin and nightwing in the game as part of the whole story. I felt like the challenges became a repetitive motion similar to the first Assassins Creed game. The sequel for Assassins Creed solved the problem by mixing up how challenges were presented and had to be solved. Also they added more aspects to the game, such as having a living quarters to visit with people/activities to explore. I would hope the next game takes a step forward in the gaming experience. I would love to play a larger map that requires driving some of the Batvehicles and exploring Gotham city.

theomegasanction- agreed i dont like how they chaged the layout of every thing and i enjoyed the art for the character bios in the first, the only things i liked about the second was you vs riddler, actually see him [though i was dissapointed how he had his own look and was not based on jim lees version from batman hush-that had to be one of the best versions of him and its sad how they sisnt make him more visually closer to his comic book counter-part but it would make up for it if we had some challenge maps that we could play as him like with joker in the first or a skin wouldve done fine ]i did like seeing and working with mr freeze. i did like the whole fling with talia but was sad when she was killed and the lazurus pit was destroyed so there was no way of reviving talia or joker with that. and i doubt that bruce wayne/batman would recreate that just to be with her an no way in hell would he bring back joker.but it would nice to see more of talia even though when your walking with her i was staring at her cgi ass the whole time which btw is bea-utifully designed.i also liked when i had to vs clayface
