When a mysterious and powerful vortex suddenly appears in various LEGO® worlds, different characters from DC Comics, The Lord of the Rings and The LEGO® Movie are swept away. To save their friends, Batman, Gandalf and Wyldstyle bravely jump into the vortex and quickly find themselves fighting to save all of LEGO humanity.

Let creativity be the guide to a building and gaming adventure - journey through unexpected worlds and team-up with unlikely allies on the quest to defeat the evil Lord Vortech. Play with different minifigures from different worlds together in one LEGO videogame, and use each other's vehicles and gadgets in a way never before possible. LEGO Bad Cop driving the DeLorean Time Machine...why not?! The LEGO® Ninjago Masters of Spinjitsu fighting alongside Wonder Woman...yes, please! Get ready to break the rules, because the only rule with LEGO Dimensions is that there are no rules.

I know. The cast for this game is better than the cast for most movies.

If only it wasn't like Disney Infinity where everything will just about cost $600.

I may be 17, and this may be a massive cash grab, but I am actually quite excited for this game!

@Niklander

Well not for the whole game.

$100 = Starter Pack

$150 total but $30 Each = 5 Level packs featuring Back to the Future, Portal, Ghostbusters, Simpsons, and Dr Who

$100 total but $25 each = 4 team packs including Jurassic World, Scooby Doo, Joker & Harley, & Ninjago

$390 total but $15 each = 26 characters packs like Superman, Stay Puft Marshmallow Man, Aquaman, Cyborg, Bane, Bart Simpson and others

So if you want everyone and everything it will be $740 with no tax added.

The game looks great and much better than Disney Infinity due to all the licenses from Harry Potter, Ghostbusters, DC, Dr Who, Scooby Doo, Simpsons, and much more....

But no way in hell's bathroom I'm paying all that money to get even some stuff. I mean $15 to play as a character that you want to play as?

Unless there is a massive price cut, I'm passing. I'll still to Arkham Knight, Gears of War, Metal Gear Solid V, and Mad Max.

Ugh, this is worse than Day 1 DLC. Actual LEGOs are expensive enough, I don't want to have to spend an arm and leg to play the games too.

I hope they're not abandoning the single franchise games after this; is much rather enjoy a complete experience than be nickel and dimed for separate content.

How many levels are in each level pack? For $30 I'd expect at least half the content of a full sized game.

@YeezusWept

Expand the gaming experience with a level pack which contains a whole new mission-based game level, along with a minifigure, a vehicle and a gadget to build and use in-game.

They are also all free roam worlds.

My God, what a cast.
Game looks like fun. I'm loving the BTTF and Ghostbusters stuff especially.
