Sony Online Entertainment announced that the Green Lantern-based "Fight For The Light" DLC will be available this summer and will feature new characters such as Kyle Rayner, Sinestro, and Guy Gardner, as well as the seventh power set which is "Light". Players will also be able to interact with GL scenarios, including S.T.A.R. Labs, Coast City, and Planet Oa.






DCUO's "Fight for the Light" DLC pack will be available for download for $9.99 USD this summer for PC and PlayStation®3 players. SOE has also stated that more DLC packs will be available in the months ahead, introducing even more new worlds and heroes to battle with.

This isn't an expansion. This is merely an update. City of Heroes does updates for free.

the game is alright,but could be better.

it could be called "marvel universe online." :D then it would be shit hot.

also i would like to join the green lantern corp or the sinestro corp.

but you can't & thats why i decided to buy the game so i might be able to join the sinestro corp one day.

why isn't this free ? i thought the £10 a month covered this.

The updates have all been free to date. I haven't paid for any of the updates.

I wasn't talking about patches. Every few months CoH releases a content pack featuring new missions, new powers, and new zones. It sounds a lot like what DCU is doing with Fight for the Light, only with CoH it's completely free.

patches are to fix bugs, there has been free updates one in febuary, one in late march and one after the hacking of their network and a 4th one with a fortress of solitude due to come out before this 9.99 expansion.
