Jeff Goldblum isn't the only
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star double dipping in the upcoming video game,
Jurassic World Evolution. Following the news that the fast-talking actor
will reprise his role of Dr. Ian Malcolm, serving in an advisory role to you in the upcoming park builder, Frontier Developments announced today that fellow
Jurassic World stars Bryce Dallas Howard and BD Wong will also have a part in the game.
Bryce Dallas Howard will reprise her role as Claire Dearing, former operations manager of Jurassic World; although, it's unclear what the character will do in the game. In the upcoming movie sequel, Dearing returns to the island alongside Owen Grady (Chris Pratt) to help launch an evacuation of the dinosaurs following a volcanic eruption on the island.
BD Wong, meanwhile, will return as Dr. Henry Wu, a scientist who likes to play God with dinosaurs. Similarly, it's unknown what role he'll have in the game.
Frontier teases that in addition to park building,
Jurassic World Evolution will offer "
an all-new story that touches on key characters and events from across the Jurassic film franchise as players attempt to successfully build and run their own Jurassic World."
Jurassic World Evolution places players in control of operations on the legendary island of Isla Nublar and the surrounding islands of the Muertes Archipelago. Players will build their own Jurassic World as they bioengineer new dinosaur breeds and construct attractions, containment and research facilities. Every choice leads to a different path and spectacular challenges arise when “life finds a way.”
Jurassic World Evolution will launch digitally at first on June 12, 2018 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One before releasing as a physical game on July 3, 2018. Meanwhile,
Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom hits theaters June 22, 2018. All that's left for Frontier Developments to announce is Chris Pratt's involvement in the game!
