VIDEO GAMES: LEGO MARVEL COLLECTION Developer Open To AVENGERS: ENDGAME DLC And Future Adventures

With the LEGO Marvel Collection now available and Avengers: Endgame hitting theaters in just a few weeks, I recently had the chance to talk with TT Games to see if the developer has plans for themed DLC.

LEGO Marvel Collection, which released earlier this month, represents a major milestone for developer TT Games. The compilation bundles three previously released games - LEGO Marvel Super HeroesLEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 and LEGO Marvel’s Avengers - and all of the existing DLC into one package.

While the LEGO Marvel Super Heroes games had their own original stories, LEGO Marvel's Avengers featured storylines from the Marvel Studios' films Marvel's The Avengers and Marvel's Avengers: Age of Ultron. DLC for the games, such as the Black Panther and Infinity War character and level packs, added new content inspired by Marvel Studios' blockbusters - essentially covering everything in the Marvel Cinematic Universe up until the upcoming Avengers: Endgame

I recently had the chance to interview TT Games via CBM's sister site, GameFragger, and since we're just a few weeks away from the movie's release, I asked if the developer had any plans to develop Endgame DLC for LEGO Marvel Collection or even beyond into Phase 4 of the MCU.

"We don’t have any plans for Avengers: Endgame content at the moment," said TT Games Senior Producer Matt Ellison. "In terms of Marvel, this LEGO Marvel Collection has very much been our focus. We are very excited to see what happens with Phase 4 as well, and if people are asking for more LEGO Marvel games then we’ll be listening!"

While nothing beyond LEGO Marvel Collection has been announced, I did ask if Marvel has clued them into the events of Endgame and beyond. Head on over to GameFragger for our full interview with TT Games on the LEGO Marvel Collection and more.

LEGO Marvel Collections brings three LEGO Marvel adventures (LEGO Marvel Super Heroes, LEGO Marvel Avengers, and LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2) together in one exciting collection!

LEGO Marvel Collection is out now for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

Great games tho. I really enjoy playing them with my almost-five year old.

The Avengers came had a few classic characters, but was really hindered by being MCU based.
The Super Heroes games are where it's at tho. Gladly take more DLC for any of these, even if it'll be the same old thing.

What they should be making is Lego Star Wars: The Clone Wars Season 2

@Kurban - But season 2 content was already in the first Clone Wars game. I think it's just seasons 3-7 they'll miss out on.

@Nightwing1015 - I’m not sure, but it’d be a season two of LEGO clone wars content anyway.

These lego games would be so much more fun if you could actually die in them and have to start over and also with over 200 and so characters it would be cool if it had a story/mission creator mode.
