Now, before I begin, this is my opinion of the best comic book-based games out there. I have played a wide range of them and due to be being a half-assed project to coincede with a film, or just poorly done, the majority of them are pretty terrible, but below is a list of the comic book related games that shine above the bad batch and really do some justice to the source material. View them below.

#5-The Punisher
Alright...this game did have some unfavorable reviews sure, but to me, it was perfect as a Punisher game, and sure did the character better justice than what the movies did. A massive armory of weapons, numerous upgrades, tons of classic bosses, great comic team-ups and cameos, Tons of extras, and the star power of Tom Jane returining as The Punisher make this a great game for any fan.

#4-Spider-Man 2
I'm sure the lot of you can agree with me on this, but this is without a doubt, one of the best videogames ever, especially being based off of a film. It was so great just to web swing my way through New York City as if I was doing it myself. To go with one of the greatest CBM's of all time, this game packs one hell of a punch for spidey fans.

#3-X-Men Origins: Wolverine(UNCAGED EDITION)
Yes the movie was pretty bad, but I must say, the game really had some redeeming qualities to it. I mean it was so badass just to hack n' slash my way through everything, and there was countless times when I would just sit and watch Wolverine heal. This game is without a doubt one of the most badass games that I have ever played. The style is repetitive sure, but it is repetitive in a very fun and satisfying way, and the alternate costumes are cool to.

#2-Batman: Arkham Asylum
This game is truly a masterpiece, and if you haven't played it, I urge you to pick it up soon and plan a time to sit down and play through this terrific game. With classic voice-overs from Kevin Conroy and Mark Hamill as Batman and Joker, stunning graphics, the fun combat system, and the great story, this game has countless hours of replay value. It is and absoulute must for any bat-fanatic. I haven't got to play its sequel yet, so for now, this game ranks 2 on my list.

#1-Marvel: Ultimate Alliance
The countless characters and Marvel lore to play through had me hooked over and over again. With the features such as upgradeable powers and the ability to design your own team, this game also features tons of extras and trivia to test your knowledge of all things Marvel, and not to mention the immersive RPG-style gameplay that will leave you wanting the more once your finished, and along with Arkham Asylum, this game is a masterpiece and should be played by any comic fan.

NOTE: Honorable mentions include The Incredible Hulk: Ultimate Destruction, Marvel Nemesis: Rise of the Imperfects, Batman Begins and LEGO Batman.

The punisher game was fn great, especially when u put in the code to uncensor the interrogation kills. I thought arkham asylum was better than arkham city as well.

Honerable mentions:
