VIDEO GAMES: Oscorp Industries Billboard Spotted In IRON MAN 3 Mobile Video Game

Did 'Gameloft' run out of textures? In their latest trailer for the upcoming 'Iron Man 3' video game, which will be released for Android and iOS, at around 0:32 mark you can actually spot an Oscorp Industries logo, the one from Marc Webb's Spider-Man franchise.







Last year 'Gameloft' released 'The Amazing Spider-Man' video game and it seems that they used the same billboard texture once again, this in the upcoming 'Iron Man 3'. Or perhaps there's some other reason?

well the green goblin from the first spider-man movie did look like he would be more at home fighting iron man than he did fighting spider-man.

Well didn't the Oscorp building nearly end up in the Avengers but they didn't have enough time to render it in. Also I don't think means much but none the less its still pretty cool.

Well, there have been video games starring SpiderMan (currently owned by Sony) and XMen characters (owned by Fox) before, so I dont think this is any different from that

thor the dark world trailer,i can see it being shown with iron man 3 so 26.4.13 is the uk release so that would match up with the end of the month.

but iron man 3 gets released in new zealand on 18.4.13 so i can see the trailer being shown there first.

seven more countries get the film on the 24th & twelve more countries on the 25th,i definitely believe we'll see it before then.

This doesn't mean anything, Like Dr Doom said they're no rights issues in the video games, so spiderman can appear in any other marvel game, it's like how wolverine, a fox property, was able to appear in a spiderman (a sony property) game a few years back

I do understand the point of those saying any character can show up in the games, but WHY use the exact logo from the new spider-man movie? Any other poster or design pointing to the character would be enough. I'm still not completely sold that the deal is happening, but I will say it's obvious that fans would love to see it and it makes too much sense for both Sony and Marvel financially.

It might be cool to see Spider-Man in the MCU but continuity would be shot. TASM doesn't work with the Avengers on many levels I don't want to go into. Not saying I'm against it but what has made the MCU great so far has been their attention to continuity and putting TASM in there would throw a wrench in there. Also, I know Spidey appears with the Avengers a lot recently in the comics, but Spider-Man works better as a solo title if you ask me. I would much rather Marvel focus on heroes that are known predominantly as members of the Avengers (Falcon, Black Panther, Ant-Man, Wasp, Vision, etc.)

Hm.. I'm sure Spidey will appear in the MCU.. But not until probly avengers 2.. I have a feeling we are going to witness something completely unexpected..
Plus.. Be on the lookout for anything coorallating with Spidey and MCU in any of phase 2 films. And the TASM 2

Sounds cool to me! Hope they reveal Pete's parents to be SHIELD agents. Maybe if Sony lets Spidey cross over into the MCU, that will convince Fox to let FF and X-Men to be a part of it.

I don't remember that Oscorp Tower in Avengers thing ever been confirmed. As far is as I remember it was nothing but a rumor, just like the Galactus and Silver Surfer in exchange for Daredevil deal that was never confirmed but people keep repeating like it was a real thing that almost happened.

Can somebody link me to any confirmation about those two rumors?

I really think this means something
1. Oscorp tower was going to be in The Avengers
2. Feige was an exec producer on TASM
And now this. I'm guessing were going to see a few Easter eggs in TASM 2 relating to the MCU. Even something as small as Spidey being surveyed by agents on a S.H.I.E.L.D. monitor would make me nerdgasm. This is pretty exciting. And it's a win-win for both the studios and the fans so they should just do it.
@Shua, exactly. Why would they use the logo from the movie for what other reason?
@Ocelot, yeah but your talking about Spider-Man WOS right? That was based on the comics universes not the movies.

I'm not 100% sure if Peter Parker's parent were SHIELD agents in the comics but that would be a cool twist in the movies. They could say his parents were undercover at Oscorp investigating them for corruption or something along those lines.
