VIDEO GAMES: TellTale's FABLES Video Game Revealed; Titled THE WOLF AMONG US
From the creators of The Walking Dead: The Game comes DC Comics' highly-acclaimed comic series, Fables. However, this new video game will take place before the popular comic book and will follow 'Bigby Wolf' as the protagonist.
After TellTale Games released an unexpected hit with The Walking Dead, which was met with notorious critical acclaim and won multiple Game Of The Year awards, the studio is back with another comic adaptation. This time it's DC Comics' Fables, which was announced back in 2011. However, this video game is a prequel to the comics and is titled The Wolf Among Us. The game will follow Bigby Wolf as the main protagonist as he is exiled to New York City and must keep fairy tale creatures undetected in our world. TellTale CEO Dan Connors said that “Developing The Wolf Among Us based on the Fables universe has allowed our studio to build upon all of the hallmarks of what makes our episodic series so engaging for players,”. Connors also goes on to slightly explain how TellTale's choice engine will work in the game, stating “Through an evolution of our approach to choice and consequence, we can further explore the complexity of each and every iconic character in a universe rich with untold history from the darkest sides of the storybooks.” If you've never had a taste of TellTale's fantastic video games, The Walking Dead is holding a massive sale for a little while on all platforms right now. The Wolf Among Us is set to hit Mac, Windows, Xbox 360 and PS3 this Summer.
