In celebration of San Diego Comic-Con, Telltale Games has released a new teaser trailer for
The Walking Dead: The Final Season, the fourth and final season of the developer's narrative adventure series based on Robert Kirkman's
Walking Dead franchise.
The new trailer arrives ahead of the promised gameplay premiere for
The Final Season, set to be shown during an IGN stream at 4:20pm PT on July 19. Following the stream, the gameplay footage will be shared across Telltale's YouTube channel on Friday, July 20 at 8:00am PT. While you wait, check out the latest trailer below.
As you can see, a lot has changed since we were first introduced to Clementine in season one back in 2012. She has grown stronger and adapted to the dark and twisted post-apocalyptic, zombie-infested world. And now,
in a situation that mirrors that of the first season, Clementine finds herself responsible for the orphaned boy AJ (Alvin Jr.).
The Walking Dead: The Final Season will premiere on August 14 for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. Episode one will be available to download with the remaining three episodes released at later dates. However, the entire season can be pre-ordered for $19.99. Doing so will not only grant you access to each episode as they become available but also give those who pre-order on Xbox One or PC free access to
The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection, a bundle of all 19 previously released episodes in the series.
The Walking Dead: The Final Season will be released for Nintendo Switch later this year.
