gandalf stormcrow, aka, gandalf the grey, aka, gandalf the white, aka, mithrandir..... wtf how many damn names this guy have? hes like a gangsta rapper lol. actually just read lotr's the fellowship and two towers books, began second half of the return of the king the other night. way more content than he films but they rock too. in a fantasy geeky kinda way.

gandalf takes huge wizard dumps all over hairy pooper.

never read the HP books, wont. i have enough torture watching friends play marvel vs. capcom with its siezure inducing graphics and mind numbing music loops. I WANNA TAKE U FOR A RIDE!!! over and over and over...

did see HP the films, solely for the CG(im a computer animator, ill watch anything with photo realistic animation)im a CG fan u could say.

only thing about HP movies that didnt irritate me were some of the creatures(the dragon, evil zombie horses and half-wit indian-like centaurs, yada yada)most of the other CG was pure cheese. the rest of the movies' were crap.

J.K. rowling used the idea in her book, but it was lame.
if u like the idea of battle vs.chess, play this chess game.
if u like hairy pooper, play with white phosphorus and sharp objects.

next thing u know the HP ptb will probably scoop up this idea and theme out their own version, may have already for all i know, god forbid.

show me a lotr themed chess game and i "might" get interested, probably already exists, wouldnt know.

as for chess itself id rather play the real thing(on an actual chess board), not against programmed AI, or some fat guy who sounds like a vacuum when he breaths over an online connection.

its like my hatred for madden(yes madden is the same game it was the last 30 versions ago, only with updated graphics and its retarded too)i say if you like football so much get off your ass and throw down with some friends at the park, meaning if you like chess get out from behind your computer and set up the board. preferably the nerdgasm set, with all the detailed pewter pieces with crystals, and ebony/ivory gold-inlayed table that runs about 5 grand. or play the original NES style like in the vids above and die slowly as you wait for the queen to slug along for a half hour.

@ngu in the final part, Deathly Hallows its only a "part" of Harry that dies. The books are actlly really good, but like most things the films don't capture the true spirit of the story.
