Access Hollywood has been taking you on location for Hollywood's biggest movies. Now, the "storm" has arrived as Halle Berry, Hugh Jackman and the gang of the X-Men return for some serious action!
Access was on the set of X2. "In X2, the action is extraordinary, the special effects are mind-blowing. He really has raised the bar," said Hugh Jackman, who stars as Wolverine.
The reported $100 million sequel, which re-unites Halle's Storm with Hugh's Wolverine, was shot on a cavernous Vancouver sound-stage, requiring 60 miles of cable to light and over 300 carpenters to construct.
"I'm happy to say that pretty much everybody is back in the cast, some people have grown up a little bit, and there's a couple of new characters," said director Brian Singer.
And they have their work cut for them, according to Brian. The super-powered mutants face their most dangerous mission yet. "X2 is part of a saga. The movie is not meant to be a complete whole. It's meant to be an episode, essentially, and there is something wonderful about that."
Fans can see more behind-the-scenes action and deleted scenes from the first film on the brand new, jam-packed X-Men 1.5 two-disc DVD set, which hits stores Feb. 11.
