I must be the luckiest Amazon user on the planet. I win things like, 15 times a day.

Only when I’m on here though. This is my lucky site.

@BloodyBed, @BobbyDrake, @TheBeard, @ElCidJedi, @davethewall - Thus hijacking ad is driving us nuts. If you see it again, please shoot me the URL that you're being redirected to. I'll get it sent over to the advertisers so that they can hunt it down.

Thanks!

@RolandD - I believe so. I've only experienced it once on mobile. I think it's targeting iOS users :(

@tripttwe - You do realize that web sites have costs associated with them, right? Bandwidth isn't cheap, especially for a site as big and popular as CBM, not to mention all of the other costs associated with it.

That being said, I am working on a subscription option that would allow users to have a completely ad free experience, plus some other perks. Hopefully it will prove to be a win-win :)

I just remember getting The Uncanny X-men #205 with the Barry Windsor-Smith Wolverine front cover and being blown away. I worked forward through the Mutant Massacre storyline and back through Dark Phoenix, Hellfire Club, Savage land etc and being blown away with the intense focus on character. It really cemented my boyish preoccupation at the time into a lifelong love of the form. Thanks Mr Claremont.

One of the first times I ever read works by him was this collection of his work in a big black and white omnibus that was in my middle schools library. It had THE BROOD SAGA, GOD LOVES, MAN KILLS, and a story with Wolverine getting married and the introduction of the Silver Samurai. That was a great way to first learn about his stories.

The MCU's take on the X-Men MUST be based on Claermont's version! There is virtually NO other take that would fit in with the MCU in tone and design.

@FleischerSupes - As evidence, Boomer giving Kitty the bunny ears in this image , which also means Wolverine making the X with his claws is on purpose like they;re posing, lol.

I love Chris Claremont. He was so part of my childhood. I remember the first comic book I ever took the time to read as a kid. I was 10. It was The Uncanny X-Men 183. I loved it so much I used all my allowance for the next 2-3 years to buy all the back issues. At that age I only bought The Uncanny X-Men and The Amazing Spider-Man. I went as far back as 120.
I will definitely be looking for this documentary.
He doesn't write anything right now and I think I read somewhere that he still gets paid by Marvel NOT to write for anyone else.

Wish it said when we can watch this.
