According to director Matthew Vaughn, if he returns to helm a sequel to X-Men: First Class, it'll only be the ONE new mutant he adds to the superhero team to take on Magneto. Well, here's your chance to decide which character that should be! Right now, we have no idea whether or not they'll stick to the continuity of the previous three movies, although the reviews and recent comments from Vaughn strongly indicate that this is the start of a new series rather than a prequel. For that reason, I've included as many of the past and present most popular X-Men I could think of. Cast your vote and check back in a few days for the results!

Armor is one of my favorite X-Men, and It'd rule to see her in a movie... but I have to say Cyclops. Especially if they go with the whole "Havok going bad" angle like Lucas said in that one interview.

I voted Thunderbird, he would fit well in this universe but I also want to see Sabretooth, Sunfire and Mikhail Rasputin, they would be a good fit in this universe too.

Yh Cyclops was never treated right in the X trilogys
hes supposed to be the leader and the most important member of the team

instead they turned him into a wimp

except this story is so retarted his younger brother is there already

so lets run with the trend of random shit x men in this film and make it Armor or someone

Angel, Iceman, Jubilee, Psylocke, Rogue, Shadowcat too young to even born in 60's.
PROBABLY CAN BE:
Cyclops, Marvel Girl or Storm can be as 5 years old kids.
ONLY IF MYSTIQUE WILL HAVE SEX WITH AZAZEL:
Nightcrawler
ONLY IF MAGNETO WILL HAVE SEX WITH SOME WOMAN:
Polaris
CAN BE:
Armor, Bishop, Cable, Cannonball, Dazzler, Longshot, Mimic, Northstar, Pixie, Thunderbird

IMO best choice is Native American - THUNDERBIRD.

actually thats not true Cable is under FOX Studio. that mistake happen before when people thought Dazzler was at Marvel Studio but shes also at FOX Studio.

Out of those listed, I say COLOSSUS.

Especially given the era this films take place, and physicality needed to take on Magneto. In Soviet Russia, Colossus stomps Magneto.

Close second would be CYCLOPS.

However, Havoc seems to have taken his place and his character wouldn't be anything entirely new to story, despite the obvious "long lost brothers" arc.

My personal pick would be WOLVERINE.

He's badass. Matthew Vaughn likes his badass characters. He could certainly help Xavier, even if it's for his own personal agenda. Not to mention, Fox loves Wolverine.

I think they should call it X-Men 2nd Class. But I'm still apprehensive about First Class. Not really sure this movie was cast properly or even if it should have been made in the first place.

Cable or Bishop would be fine. Colossus was already in the X-Men movies...but I think they never called him by his name. I vaguely remember Wolverine calling him Colossus before the "fastball special" to the danger room sentinel. If he did, then that's a waste of a perfectly good story arc for a cold war sequel. I say Storm with her mohawk look in the 70's. Also, Psylocke can get it!

WHAT?? No Morph? Morph would make a Bad Ass Storyline with Wolverine (if that's who they introduce like Singer alluded to). Plus from a special effects standpoint he'd be such a cool character to do on screen. Mystique never uses her power well.

Morph could be used to work in Sinister. Possibly open the way to the Savage Land. So many possibilities...


But then again it is Fox so they'll probably have Jubilee come in as X's love child seeing as he's such a pimp in this movie.

I think that jean grey cyclops and storm should be introduced in the third one. No nightcrawler or colossus because it might get abit confusing about them in the old trilogy and not in the new one.

I think bishop would be a good choice because he has a close friendship with charles, so this would be helping charles on his path of rightous if you will.

SOME OF THOSE CHARACTERS CANT BE IN THIS TIME ERA THE MOVIE IS BEING MADE IN. ITS the 60s. Some of those characters arent even born yet.

I WANT CYCLOPS in the movie...Like what someone said in the earlier post "There is NO X-men without its Leader"

CYCLOPS HAS ALWAYS BEEN HATED ON, AND BEEN one of the most UNDER_RATED x-men because of Wolverine. Fu*k Wolverine...

Cyclops has been through how many wars? Lost 2 wives. Fought next to his brothers and sons... AND STILL Lives to talk about it. HA! CYCLOPS....The ONLY Leader worthy to lead the X-men. And you're not gonna put him in the movie?

At least introduce HIM as a child with Marvel Girl...for a foreshadow of the making.
