that trailer is not in english, but still is better than the garbage that the first one was. the first one made it look like gladiator with bow and arrows. this one was much better, but still not in enlish so i have no idea what was said.

Meh - How many more movies can we see the same ole' thing over and over and over again? People, they did it right WAAAAY back in 1938 with Errol Flynn and Basil Rathbone. Anything else is 'Men in Tights'....

It looks extremely bad-ass, but it just doesn't seem like a Robin Hood movie from these trailers. It looks more like Gladiator 2.

I'm definitely seeing it though, Russel Crowe + Ridley Scott = epic win, and the action looks intense, I'm hoping it is more of a Robin Hood movie than the trailers show.

The picture of Robin Hood on the comic book, looks a little like Timothy Dalton as Prince Barin.

optimus@ If you think the movie is gonna be borring because it looks like a gladiator sequel, then I think you should get your head checked. Gladiator was an epic of unfathomable proportions, so even if this movie is not gonna be completely like the way Robin Hood should be, it is not gonna be anything close to Borring. At least IMO.

It looks sweet, and nice that my small amount of german lesson is finally coming to good use :D

OK,ok.. I guess it helps to watch the ENTIRE trailer before passing judgement (guys, feel free to ream me a new one - LOL!). I still say the 1938 version is the best (got a soft spot fo the classic), BUT... this trailer does look... interesting. Oh who the [explitive] am I kidding?! This looks AWESOME! Ridley Scott, Russell Crow AND Kate Blanchett ALL IN THE SAME FILM?! I AM SOOOOO THERE!

Bropus...you make an interesting point. Some of that has been done, you just need to look a little deeper than HBO...Sean Connery was the Green Man. Personally I'd LOVE to see Canterbury Tales done as a looong mini series.

BTW, I'm anxiously awaiting this movie, looks like it'll be out in Mai(at least in Germany)

They remake movies for new audiences. I have sisters that won't watch anything past the nineties unless it's a comedy and it had better be really funny. I'm not too found of Errol Flynn's Robin Hood. I was younger when I watched it, but I'm not too keen on giving it another shot. I liked Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, but I'm pretty sure that I will end up liking this new version the best.

I think remakes are okay, depending on how well they turn out and what's being remade. Charlie and the Chocolate Factory was so different than Willy Wonka that they're like not even the same thing to me, but I still like both.

I will try just about any movie with Russel Crowe. He's phenomenal and Ridley Scott does great work.
