After spending years in Development Hell, we recently learned that a new Beverly Hills Cop movie was finally in the works for Netflix, and cameras are already rolling in LA.

Several set photos have now been shared online (via ActionNewz), giving us a first look at the returning Eddie Murphy as wisecracking Detroit police officer Axel Foley. Just in case there was any doubt who the legendary actor/comedian is playing here, Murphy is decked-out in Foley's signature Detroit Lions jacket.

Check out the photos, which also reveal that Stranger Things actor Paul Reiser has joined the cast, at the links below.

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel Foley (yes, that's the title they're going with) plot details are still under wraps, but we do know that Murphy will be joined by Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Taylour Paige in undisclosed supporting roles.

The movie is being directed by Mark Molloy from a screenplay written by Will Beall, with Murphy also on board as a producer alongside Jerry Bruckheimer, Chad Oman, and Melissa Reid of Jerry Bruckheimer Films.

The first Beverly Hills Cop released in 1984, and was a huge hit. It was followed by a mostly well-received sequel in 1987, and the not-so well-received Beverly Hills Cop 3 in 1994.

What do you guys think? Are you looking forward to another Beverly Hills Cop movie? Drop us a comment down below.

Wont be the same without Billy & Taggart. But Shaft was also from a few years ago. So hopefully this is just as good
