The Woman In Black was expected to win the weekend (mainly down to the fact that it features former Harry Potter, Daniel Radcliffe) but director Josh Trank's original and critically acclaimed Chronicle has surprisingly managed to finish Saturday with $300,000 more. Both have overperformed at the US box office this weekend as neither film was originally expected to pass $20M. This is good news for the studios as both projects are fairly low budget and have attracted the young audiences that analysts believe were missing from the latter half of 2011. Here are the top 10 films courtesy of Deadline.
