Bruno Gunn Set To Play 'Brutus' In THE HUNGER GAMES: CATCHING FIRE
At this point, it would surely be easier for Lionsgate to just issue a press release with all of the new cast members they've acquired for Francis Lawrence's The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. Well, they haven't, so here's yet another addition to the highly anticipated sequel.
The Wrap reports that Bruno Gunn (Bad Teacher, The Office) has been cast as 'Bruno' in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire. The site describes the character as being, "a skilled archer and a previous victor of the gladiatorial games at the center of the series." Apparently, he attempts to form some sort of alliance with Katniss Everdeen in the novel, so we should probably expect to see that in the film too. Gunn joins a cast which includes Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth, and fellow new additions Phillip Seymour Hoffman, Amanda Plummer, Jena Malone, Lynn Cohen, Patrick St. Esprit and Meta Golding. The film will be released on November 22nd, 2013.
