Our first (unofficial) look at Sony's upcoming action flick Bullet Train has arrived courtesy of some new set photos, and they provide a glimpse of stars Brad Pitt (Once Upon a Time in Hollywood) and Joe King (The Dark Knight Rises) in between takes.

As you can see, Pitt's character (we still don't have any names) looks like he's been through the wars, which is hardly surprising when the A-lister is believed to be playing one of a group of assassins competing to take out the same target.

Deadpool 2 director David Leitch's high-concept thriller also stars Sandra Bullock, Aaron Taylor Johnson, Brian Tyree Henry, Andrew Koji, Zazie Beetz, Lady Gaga and Michael Shannon.

Based on Japanese novel Maria Beetle by best-selling author Kotaro Isaka, Bullet Train follows "five assassins on a fast-moving bullet train from Tokyo to Morioka with only a few stops in between. They discover their missions are linked to one another. The question becomes, who will make it off the train alive and what awaits them at the terminal station?"

The movie will be produced by Kelly McCormick through 87North, along with Antoine Fuqua. Ryosuke Saegusa and Yuma Terada of CTB Inc will exec produce.

The script was penned by Zak Olkewicz (The Last Voyage of the Demeter, Fear Street 2).

OT:

Paul Bettany was on GMA and was straight up asked if he was talking about White Vision during that cameo talk. We all knew it but he was laughing and basically admitted to thinking it was funny (and it still is).
