Check Out The Amazing Teaser For THE DARK KNIGHT TRILOGY Director Christopher Nolan's DUNKIRK

Dunkirk isn't exactly a superhero movie, but whatever Christopher Nolan does is an event regardless of the genre, so you're definitely going to want to check out this first teaser for the WWII epic...

He (shockingly) may not have an Oscar at home, but Christopher Nolan's movies have still become the rare kind you can sell on the director's name alone thanks to the success of The Dark Knight Trilogy. That's evident from the success found by the likes of Inception and Interstellar, and while Dunkirk may be a World War II movie rather than a comic book or sci-fi epic, it looks every bit as huge.

With a cast which includes Tom Hardy, Mark Rylance, Kenneth Branagh, Cillian Murphy, and Harry Styles, there's no denying that it has the potential to be one of the filmmaker's biggest releases yet. The fact that he's using a mixture of IMAX and 65mm film to bring the story to the screen just makes it all the more exciting. Plot details are being kept under wraps, but we do know that Dunkirk opens as hundreds of thousands of British and Allied troops are surrounded by enemy forces. Trapped on the beach with their backs to the sea they face an impossible situation as the enemy closes in.

Dunkirk is set to be released next July. What do you think about this first look? Sound off below.
